Born in Chicagoland, Disney always seemed so far away. I first went with my family when I was 6, and I remember the joy I felt. I went again when I was 16, and knew this place was just for me. When I turned 21, I was the coach of a Dance Team who received a bid to compete at Dance Worlds at Walt Disney World. Right when I stepped into Magic Kingdom, I knew one day this would become my home. My dance teams consecutively received bids to Dance Worlds and Dance Summit (all hosted by Walt Disney World) for the next 5 years until I met a very special someone whom I had to compete against! His team ended up besting mine, but instead of his celebratory Winner's Team Dinner, he invited me to join him on our first date at Magic Kingdom. After 3 years of co-coaching/co-living together, visiting Disneyland Resort, Disneyland Paris, Disney Cruise Lines and Disney's Aulani Resort, we decided to make the big move to Orlando and made our dreams come true together of living near Walt Disney World. We got married where we first competed against each other at Coronado Springs Resort, had our dessert party at the Italy Pavilion in Epcot, and he even became a Cast Member that performs in the Festival of the Lion King, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Parade, Festival of Fantasy Parade, Celebracion Encanto, and Mickey's Boo to You Parade. Disney holds such a special place in our hearts, that when we had our son, I knew I wanted him to feel that joy I first felt when I was 6 years old every day!
