Disney's Boardwalk Inn Resort

Let’s take a trip back to Atlantic City right at the turn of the Century. Disney’s Boardwalk Inn overlooks Crescent Lake and features the old school charm of Atlantic City with plenty of activities, entertainment and even the nightlife of the Boardwalk. It doesn’t stop there this resort is walking distance to not one, but two parks!

Is watching the fireworks at Epcot a must for you on a vacation? Booking a water view room at the Boardwalk Resort allows for guests to sit out on their balcony to enjoy the nightly Fireworks at Epcot. Guests also have the opportunity to choose a room that sleeps up to 5 adults with a Water view, Garden View Room or a Standard view room that views the beautifully manicured grounds of the resort. For guests who choose to have some of the comforts of home on their vacation, the resort has Studio accommodations that sleep up to 5 adults that have a mini refrigerator, microwave and coffee machine. For guests who choose to do a little bit of cooking on their vacation, One Bedroom Villas are also available that feature a full kitchen and sleep up to 4 adults.

The Boardwalk Resort is known for being home to the perfect honeymoon destination. The Garden Suite is like nothing else on Walt Disney World property, where guests have their own private fenced in courtyard, that is away from the hustle and bustle of the Boardwalk excitement. These Suites are two stories and have plenty of space. Downstairs is the living room that features a pull out couch, tv, mini refrigerator and microwave, while upstairs there is a king sized bed and its own balcony. They are surrounded by walking paths and trees and are conveniently located to a quiet pool making for the perfect romantic getaway. The piece de resistance is that when booking a Garden Suite guests are given access to the exclusive concierge lounge. In addition to the Garden Suites, there are also 2 Bedroom Suites, and standard rooms that are eligible for the concierge lounge.

Say so long to the creepy clown slide that haunted all of us with a room that overlooked the pool and hello to the 200 foot long Keister Coaster that is now themed with Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Donald, Daisy and Goofy. The Keister Coaster is located at the Luna Park Pool, which is the feature pool at the Boardwalk Resort. Have no fear - while the resort did get rid of the Creepy Clown, they kept the carousel themed fun under the big top! Leaping Horse Libations, the poolside bar is still alive and well under the big top tent in the pool area. The Luna Park Pool is a great place for families to hang out, it even has a kiddie pool for the smallest travelers to splash away and a whirlpool spa. For guests who would like a little bit of a more laid back atmosphere, the resort also has two leisure pools, one located by the Rose Courtyard section of the resort and another is located on the Villa side of the resort near the Community Hall. Both of these leisure pools have their own whirlpool spa.

Every Boardwalk has a side show and at the Boardwalk Inn, it just so happens to be a Silly Side Show Arcade. The Arcade is located near the Luna Park Pool and has plenty of video games to keep everyone entertained. Also near the Luna Park Pool our youngest travelers will have plenty of fun playing on the Luna Park Crazy Playground. The Community Hall is also a fun place for kids to participate in activities, games and arts and crafts. This is also where guests will find a nightly movie shown.

Muscles and Bustles Health Club is a full service work out facility that is open 24 hours a day with a Key to the World Card or MagicBand(+). Guests are welcome to use the Cyblex and Life Fitness equipment such as free weights and weight machines, as well as the state of the art treadmills, bicycles and ellipticals. After your workout take a few minutes to unwind and relax in the Sauna. For guests who prefer an outdoor work out there are several jogging trails around the resort in addition to running around Crescent Lake. Surrey Bikes are also available to rent for 2 to 4 guests. If a game of tennis is on your itinerary complimentary racquets and balls are available to check out at the Community Hall, don’t let the midday heat prevent you from using these beautiful tennis courts, they are even lit up at night to play in the cooler hours of the day.

The Boardwalk Inn is a quick 5 minute walk to the World Showcase Entrance to Epcot and the Skyliner. If you head in the opposite direction past the tennis courts, Hollywood Studios is a 15 minute walk away, just follow the posted signs. Friendship Boats are also available to give guests a ride to Hollywood Studios, Epcot or even one of the other Crescent Lake resorts. Buses are available to bring guests to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Disney Springs.
