Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort

Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort celebrates the diverse and vibrant culture of the Caribbean. Disney takes a truly captivating approach to making the resort feel as if you are vacationing in the tropical islands. With six pools in total and several leisurely beach areas, you can lounge freely and bask in the wonderful Florida sunshine. If parks are your top priority, then the Caribbean Beach Resort’s unlimited SkyLiner access is perfect for you and your family. Both Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT parks are just a short flight away, giving you perfect access to these parks whenever you desire.

Resort Rooms

Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort offers room options that will suit the needs for most small to medium sized parties. Room options vary from a Standard room to a Preferred room. Preferred rooms differ from Standard rooms in location only, with Preferred Rooms close in proximity to Centertown Market and the Fuentes del Morro pool. King beds are available, but only for Standard view rooms. All rooms, except for the King Bedroom, sleep up to four adults with the ability to upgrade to a 5th sleeper roomer. Amenities are plentiful, with the included cooler, coffee bar, ironing board, safe, and other extras sure to make your stay magical. While the rooms are not as grand as deluxe level hotels, much of the resort's theming continues to the rooms. You can find mesh designed cabinets and ornate style lights of many reminiscent of the Caribbean inspired decorations found throughout the resort.

Dining

Dining at this resort is made island breezy by the availability of two quick service food locations and a superb sit-down restaurant.

Centertown Market is the most notable of the two quick service locations due to it being located at the heart of the resort. Breakfast is classic Disney inspired dishes, from Mickey waffles to pancakes. However, the lunch and dinner menu take their inspiration directly from the Caribbean, where you can find dishes like the Fried Yuca Bowl, the Mixed Grill Platter, and many more Caribbean flavored menu items.

Spyglass Grill is another quick service option at this resort. This dining location takes a Caribbean and American fusion approach to all of their dishes. Spyglass Girl serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and is conveniently located in the Trinidad village.

Bars

Banana Cabana is a pool bar located near Fuentes del Morro, and right next to Sebastian’s Bistro. Unlike many other resort pool bars, Banana Cabana offers a full dining menu with sit-down service. If you are looking for something a little more casual, you can pull up a seat at the bar and watch a sports game on one of the TVs. Don’t forget to try the famous Pina Colava!

Table Service

Sebastian’s Bistro is a family-style table service restaurant right at the heart of Caribbean Beach Resort. This restaurant is inspired by everyone’s favorite crab from The Little Mermaid and serves only dinner. The bistro offers a variety of food, including multiple Caribbean inspired dishes such as curry, flank steak, cilantro rice with beans, and more. To top it all off is the iconic coconut bread pudding, which is absolutely delicious!

Pools

Fuentes del Morro is the centerpiece of the Caribbean Beach Resort. The pool is reminiscent of a Spanish colonial fortress, with two thrilling slides perfect for guests to enjoy. For the smaller ones, there is a shipwreck themed play area perfect for them to romp around in. Mini slides, a crow’s nest, and large water dispensing barrel adorn the children’s play area. If relaxation is on your mind, then there is also a hot tub to help unwind the stresses of the day away.

If staying away from the hustle and bustle of Fuentes del Morro sounds like a good time, each of the five villages contains a leisure pool. These pools are a perfect option if you prefer to relax and enjoy the sunny Florida weather.

Recreation

Guests of all ages will find a variety of recreation options at Caribbean Beach Resort. While kids can find plenty of games at the Fuentes del Morro pool, adults may opt to rent a boat from the marina and sail away on Barefoot Bay. Outside Port Royal, table tennis awaits those looking to play a couple rounds. If guests seek adventure elsewhere, they have the ability to hop on the Skyliner and either travel to other resorts or make a stop at Disney’s EPCOT or Hollywood studios!
