Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort

Foodies and vacationers who want to relax away from the parks, Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort is the perfect place to be. Sitting on the beautiful Lake Buena Vista, just a short walk or water taxi ride from Disney Springs, Saratoga Springs is the largest resort on Walt Disney World property sitting on over 65 acres and is themed after Saratoga Springs, New York in the late 1800’s which is known for its horse racing and beautiful spas. Although this is a large resort the Cast Members are top notch, bell service won’t just deliver luggage to your room they will also offer you a ride in one of their many golf carts.

Rooms

Saratoga Springs recently went through a MASSIVE overhaul that started in 2019 and the resort rooms have all recently been redone to maximize resort room space. For smaller traveling parties there are Studios that comfortably sleep 4 adults. In addition to every studio having its own personal kitchenette, they feature both a queen sized bed and a couch that pulls down into queen sized bed from the wall, allowing for plenty of room during the day, with the coffee table even hiding away extra storage. For large parties, Saratoga Springs makes traveling effortless. There are 1 bedroom Villas that sleep 5, 2 bedroom Villas that sleep up to 9 and 3 bedroom Grand Villas that can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests. The full kitchens in the Villas are a great way to make breakfast before heading to a park.

But be sure to go ahead and add staying in a Treehouse Villa to your Walt Disney World bucket list, it is the perfect home away from home in your own private hideaway - you'll never want to leave the resort. The Treehouse Villas have a huge outdoor deck for entertaining, 3 bedrooms, one of which is a bunk room and a full kitchen.

Dining

Table Service

The Turf Club Bar and Grill is a great place to enjoy dinner, with a similar feeling to eating at a Club House where you will overlook the beautifully landscaped Lake Buena Vista Golf Course. The Turf Club menu features steaks, pork, seafood and chicken. Start off dinner with their famous Fritto Misto medley of Calamari and shrimp but be sure to also stop by the Turf Club Lounge, before or after dinner, for a drink.

Poolside Dining and Bars

Saratoga Springs has no shortage of Pool Side Dining and Bar options. The Paddock Grill is located at the Paddock Pool and features a full bar along with breakfast, lunch and dinner. For lunch and dinner - sandwiches, salads, and burgers are served, but the real star of the show is the Shrimp Tacos.

Open 11AM to 9PM daily, On the Rocks Pool Bar is located at the High Rock Spring Pool and serves a full bar, beer, wine and even Sangria, although we highly recommend their Strawberry Margarita. Keep in mind, if you will be visiting January ‘23- March of ‘23 it will be closed due to renovations. An additional seasonal option is the Backstretch Pool Bar located near the Grandstand leisure pool, it has sandwiches, pizza, pretzels and ice cream. Keep in mind if you are visiting this pool bar that they only serve beer, wine and canned cocktails.

Quick Service

The Artist’s Palette is located in the main Carriage House building and features a cafeteria style dining service that offers grab and go options, a small grocery selection if you prefer to cook in your room, as well as a full menu that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you want to grab a quick bite and don’t have the time to wait, or even if you want to enjoy a pizza at the pool, The Artist’s Palette offers mobile ordering.

For travelers who will be playing a round of golf during their visit, Chip ‘n’ Dales Cafe is a snack stand on the Lake Buena Vista Golf Course that features Boar’s Head Deli Sandwiches and Boar’s Head Hot Dogs along with having several beers on tap.

Saratoga Springs has not one but two feature pools that have slides and zero entry allowing guests to easily get in and out of the pool. The main features of the Paddock Pool is that has a 146 foot long water slide and also has 2 kid friendly slides for smaller travelers as well as a whirlpool spa shaped like a horseshoe. High Rock Spring Pool is the second feature pool that offers a water slide,The Donald Duck water play area where kids can splash in the geysers and waterfalls as well as participate in daily Cast Member lead activities. In addition to the featured pools there are also 3 different leisure pools that are near the Treehouse Villas, Congress Park and the Grandstand sections of the resort.

Recreation

The Community Hall at Saratoga Springs Resort is one of the largest game rooms in Walt Disney World. Here you will find ping pong, foosball, video and board games, arts and crafts along with the opportunity to check out basketballs, tennis and shuffleboard equipment. The Community Hall is open daily from 10PM to 10PM. Next door to the Community Hall is where you will find a large arcade with plenty of different games like Pacman, Guitar Hero and Air Hockey. There are even a few massage chairs in the arcade! In the courtyard right outside of the Community Hall, you will find the fire-pit where there is a campfire to roast marshmallows every night (weather permitting) from 6PM to 7PM. On Sundays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays the courtyard is where you will be able to watch "Movies Under the Stars" at 8PM. For our young and energetic travelers, there is a fun filled playground in the Congress Park section of the resort.

Gym and Spa

The Carriage House also hosts a full service Spa and Health Club that offers services like massages, facials and also a relaxation room, steam room and whirlpool spas with heated lounges to fully enjoy some much needed relaxation from the parks. There is also a 24 hour Fitness Center which features strength training equipment, treadmills, bicycles, elliptical machines, stair climbers & free weights.
