Both of which are classified as value resorts with a secondary mode of transportation! You can’t beat the price for the convenience of being on the Skyliner route. Each value resort also offers complimentary bus service to the parks along with Disney Springs.
If you decide to have a resort day, while value resorts do not have slides at the pool - they do have larger than life theming at their feature pools and quiet pools! Yes, you heard that right, each resort has multiple pools! It doesn’t stop there, there are also splash pads at each resort for kids of all ages to enjoy. Art of Animation is actually home to the BIGGEST pool on Walt Disney World property “The Big Blue Pool.” The Big Blue Pool contains over 308,000 gallons of water and is inspired by the movie Finding Nemo, so keep an eye out for larger than life jellyfish! Every day the feature pool at each resort hosts recreational activities such as games, arts and crafts, trivia and even poolside dance parties! Value Resorts feature some of the largest quick service selections. They each have their own dining hall that has just about anything and everything that you could think of. At Breakfast you’ll find all of your favorite staples from eggs, to mickey waffles, pancakes and you may even find some more intricate breakfast options like omelets and yogurt parfaits. For guests that are on the go, there are huge pastry and bagel selections to choose from to eat on the go. Lunch and Dinner also have endless options of burgers, pastas, chicken, sandwiches, salads and depending on the resort you may even find some more adventurous options like shrimp and grits. There is sure to be something for everyone from the pickiest eater to the foodie.
While the majority of rooms at a value resort only accommodate up to four people, larger families or traveling groups you also have options when it comes to value resorts! All Star Music offers a limited number of Family Suites that sleep up to 6 adults. These suites have 3 queen size beds and two full bathrooms. It doesn’t stop there, the kitchenettes in the suites at All Star Music have a full size refrigerator with a freezer, a microwave and a toaster making it easy to eat breakfast or reheat meals in your suite. If you prefer to stay on the Skyliner route, Art of Animation also has a large variety of themed suites that sleep up to 6 to choose from. While these suites also have two bathrooms and 3 beds, they have full size beds instead of queen size beds. Staying in a suite is a great budget friendly option for large families!
