Set Sail on the Disney Wish

Set sail on the fifth ship to join the Disney Cruise Line fleet, the Disney Wish. The Disney Wish departs from Port Canaveral in Florida on 3- and 4-night sailings. Guests can conveniently fly in and out of Orlando, Florida, and even enjoy a Walt Disney World vacation before or after their cruise. The Disney Wish currently ports in Nassau, Bahamas, and at Disney’s private destination, Castaway Cay.

Rotational Dining

Enjoy rotational dining in three unique dining rooms during your voyage onboard the Disney Wish. Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure offers a Norwegian-inspired menu and a dinner show featuring characters and fan-favorite songs from Frozen. Worlds of Marvel is an immersive dining experience with a Marvel-inspired menu, where guests enjoy classic Marvel scenes and special guest appearances. The final dining experience, 1923, celebrates the golden age of animation. This California-inspired dining room pays homage to the world’s oldest continuously operating animation studio, The Walt Disney Company, founded in 1923. Guests will have the chance to experience each dining room at least once during their cruise.

Oceaneer Club

The Disney Wish takes storytelling to new heights in the Oceaneer Club. Fairytale Hall brings beloved princesses and queens into specially themed activity rooms: Rapunzel has her own art studio, Belle’s Library is a cozy reading nook, and Anna and Elsa have an area dedicated to Frozen-themed fun. Young imagineers can get creative in the Walt Disney Imagineering Lab, where they can design a roller coaster and then experience their creation virtually. Young recruits can also train to become superheroes at Marvel Super Hero Academy, a high-tech Avengers command post. Star Wars fans will love Star Wars: Cargo Bay, where they learn to handle intergalactic creatures and take on important missions.

Make a Splash

Families can make a splash in six pools across the upper decks of the Disney Wish. The largest pools are Mickey and Minnie’s Pools on Deck 11, closest to the Funnel Vision screens that show a variety of Disney movies and other fun features. Mickey’s Pool is sometimes covered for entertainment like the Sail Away Party. There are also four smaller pools: Daisy and Pluto’s Pools mirror each other on Deck 11 and are just deep enough to cool off, while Donald and Goofy’s Pools on Deck 12 are about four feet deep. The Disney Wish is home to the first Disney attraction at sea, the AquaMouse. This is more than just a water slide; it’s an animated water ride featuring scenes with Minnie and Mickey. Guests must be at least 42 inches tall to ride the AquaMouse. All children must be potty-trained to enjoy the pools, as swim diapers are not allowed. However, little ones will absolutely love the Toy Story Splash Zone, which features toddler-sized slides, fountains, and other water play elements designed just for them.

Adult Activities

Adults can enjoy just as much fun as kids onboard the Disney Wish, with numerous activities just for grown-ups. Adults can make reservations for beverage seminars that feature whiskey, margarita, and wine tastings, mixology classes, and more. If you didn’t reserve a seminar, don’t worry—there are plenty of bars and lounges onboard, including a speakeasy. Adults can also participate in crew-led activities listed on the Navigator app, including Bingo, Match Your Mate, Silent DJ Parties, and Trivia rounds, most of which take place on Decks 3 and 5.For a more relaxing experience, enjoy the adults-only pool area. The Quiet Cove Pool is a peaceful, child-free oasis. The Senses Spa and Salon is another great place to unwind, offering a range of services as well as rainforest room passes for the length of the cruise.

Onboard Shows

Disney is known for its incredible live performances, and the Disney Wish offers several Broadway-style shows, including Disney Seas the Adventure, Disney’s The Little Mermaid, and Disney’s Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular. The entertainment continues in the onboard theater, which shows a variety of Disney films. If a new Disney movie is released during your cruise, you’ll even have the opportunity to see it onboard.
